郭玮炜研究员致力于发展智能的生化分析方法和传感装置,集中研究具备多功能可编码的DNA传感材料包括DNA水凝胶与纳米结构等传感材料及结合纳米簇、量子点和功能二维结构等的复合功能传感材料的设计、调控及相关基础科学问题,建立和发展针对不同类型生化分析目标的分离检测新原理与新方法,进而发展智能的生化分析试纸与芯片、穿戴式生化传感器和植入式诊疗一体化系统,目前已经取得了一系列创新研究成果,发表SCI论文40余篇,总引用次数超过2400次,H-index为 27。其中,以第一(共同第一)或通讯作者发表SCI论文20余篇,包括2篇《J. Am. Chem. Soc.》,2篇《Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.》,3篇《Adv. Mater.》,2篇《Adv. Funct. Mater.》,2篇《Small》,1篇《Chem. Sci.》等高影响力SCI收录学术杂志论文,最高单篇他引超过380次,多篇学术论文被评为ESI高被引论文(Highly Cited Papers)。此外,担任中文核心期刊《分析试验室》编委(第五届),及担任Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater., Chem. Sci., ACS Nano, ACA等Wiley/ACS/RSC/Elsevier出版社旗下十多个业界公认的国际顶级或高水平学术期刊的独立通讯评审人和仲裁评审。目前,已先后主持国家自然科学基金青年与面上项目、天津市自然科学基金重点项目以及南开大学百青项目等多项。
