主要从事物理有机化学、有机合成化学、催化化学及现代电子材料化学领域研究,在电子显微镜技术应用于有机化学研究中取得了国际首创的研究成果,尤其在光电功能材料研究领域取得了大量的、独创性的研究成果,迄今累计在国际权威杂志上发表论文560篇,包括Science 4篇、Nature 1篇,Nature 子刊9篇,JACS 171 篇,累计被引用5万余次。
